Yes. Where available, Microsoft AppSource offers a free trial period. You can also install extensions in a Business Central sandbox environment to evaluate them without affecting your production data.
Generally, no. Most of our extensions operate entirely within your own Dynamics 365 Business Central tenant and contain no tracking or analytics libraries. If a specific extension requires communicating with external servers to provide its functionality, this is explicitly detailed on the respective product page.
Each extension states the minimum supported BC version on its product page. We actively maintain compatibility with current BC releases and Microsoft’s release cadence.
